Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Governor Mead signed 10 bills into law on Friday morning at the State Capitol. Mead spent more than an hour signing the bills in the presence of legislative sponsors and civilians.
The most emotional signing was for House Bill 5, which allows the state to give school districts money to install cameras on the outsides of school buses. Friends and family of the 11-year-old girl killed in Fremont County in 2011 were on hand for the signing.
Other bills signed included House Bill 173, allowing schools to stock epinephrine pens, and House Bill 73 enforcing "Employment First" standards for employers hiring people with disabilities.
