Grizzlies Win Home Opener

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN)- The Cheyenne Grizzlies are the reigning Mountain Collegiate Baseball League champions after defeating the Casper Cutthroats for the title in 2013.

The chance for back-to-back titles began this week.

The Grizzlies dropped their opening series against Sterling and came into a three game set against Casper needing some momentum.

Graham Pimm scored on a fielder's choice in the first inning and Zach Worsley knocked a two-run RBI in the bottom of the sixth as Cheyenne wins their first game of the season 3-2 against the Cutthroats.
