Jillian Balow wins Superintendent's race

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Jillian Balow has won the Republican nomination for the position of Wyoming superintendent of public instruction.

The race was called around 10:15 PM with 94% of precincts reporting. Balow had 41% of the vote with Sheryl Lain coming in second at 32% and Bill Winney finishing last with 27% of the vote.

Balow will now face Democratic challenger Mike Ceballos in the general election in November. Ceballos ran unopposed in the democratic primary.
