Kraft Foods recalls 260 cases of Velveeta

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Kraft Foods is recalling 260 cases of its Velveeta Original Pasteurized Recipe because it could spoil prematurely. Velveeta Original Pasteurized Recipe Cheese Product 32 ounce (2 pound), code date 17 DEC 2014 09:34 - 13:15 doesn't contain the correct amount of preservative sorbic acid, which can cause the product to spoil before the marked expiration date and could lead to food borne illness.

The Velveeta is being recalled from Wal-Mart stores in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
