Cheyenne, WY. (KGWN) - The State House killed the bill by a wide margin to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana. Under House Bill 49, anyone caught with an ounce or less of pot would face a civil penalty rather than a criminal one.
Meanwhile, the bill to allow firing squads for executions failed by three votes in the Senate.
Both bills are dead for this session.
We'll have more on those bills and a number of others in tonight's Legislative Report on CBS NewsChannel 5.
