Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - The Summer's big construction project begins Monday.
The Logan Avenue reconstruction project includes new sanitary sewer, water lines, storm water drains, sidewalks, curb, gutter and new road surface.

The first phase of the project will close Logan between Nationway and north of East 10th Street. The intersection of Nationway and Logan Avenue will have lane reductions, but will remain open. The next section of Logan Avenue, just north of East 10th Street to just north of East 12th Street will be the last section of Logan under construction this year.

Detours will be posted and there will be business access during construction. The project cost $7.7 million. Funding for the project comes from the Fifth-Penny tax and Cheyenne BOPU.

The entire project is expected to last until late 2015.
