Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Representative Cynthia Lummis was in Cheyenne on Wednesday to announce her re-election bid.
Lummis is seeking a fourth term as Wyoming's only representative in the House. Lummis gave her remarks at the Cheyenne Depot lobby in front of about two dozen supporters.
Lummis said she's looking forward to her campaign and getting to the 23 counties in the state to talk to constituents about everything from "gas pump to the grocery to the gun range."
Lummis talked about her dissatisfaction with the Democratic led house, but pointed out she doesn't think her Republican colleagues are doing that much better. She said she's sick of seeing bills skip the important committee stages and go straight to a vote.
Republican Jason Senteney announced in October he would run against Lummis. The general election is November 4th, 2014.
