The Mustangs came back to Powers Field to finish their home and home series with Davey Jones.

The game got underway underneath gloomy skies but the weather did not stop the game once.

Davey Jones jumped up 1-0 int he first. Cheyenne did not hesitate to jump all over the Rangers first pitcher. Scoring 3 each in the 1st and 2nd inning on a combo of walks, hit batsmen and hits.

Trailing 6 to 1 in the third, the Rangers scored 3 to pull within 2.

The game went scoreless until the top of the 6th when the Rangers were patient enough to take a few walks and a get a few hit to put up a 6 sport in the 6th.

The rally fell short in the bottom of the 7th for the Mustangs. They pushed one guy around to make 10-7 but with two on and two outs, the Rangers struck out the final batter and walk away with the 10-7 win over The Mustangs.

The Mustangs have a day off then travel to Northern Colorado to play a few this weekend vs Jefferson.
