Parent internet education in Cheyenne

Cost: Free

All parents are invited.  If students attend they must be in 7th-12th grade and accompanied by a parent.

 

Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) From 7–9 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, at South High School’s auditorium, a parent information night will be held. The meeting is open to all adults as well as seventh- through 12th–grade students accompanied by a parent.

Detective John Gay and School Resource Officer Manny Fardella of the Cheyenne Police Department will discuss Internet safety and social media.

Parents will have the opportunity to view websites children have access to and learn how students use technology devices. A question-and-answer session will follow the meeting. The event is free to the public and is being sponsored by the Bain PTO.
