Spring Snow Brings Threat of Flooding

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - This weekend's wet snow has area emergency management officials concerned about the threat of flooding.

Snowpack levels are at 145% in the Snowy Mountains. With rain in the forecast, Albany County Emergency Management Coordinator Aimee Binning says they could see some flooding along the Laramie and Little Laramie.

Officials are also concerned about potential flooding in Carbon County, where the North Platte at Saratoga reached record highs just three years ago.
