Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - A Cheyenne jury has reached a verdict in the Alice Uden murder trial.

The Jury found Uden guilty of second-degree murder of Ronald Holtz. Holtz died in late 1974 or early 1975. Alice Uden claims it was a case of self-defense.

Investigators recovered his remains from an abandoned mine in southeast Wyoming last summer.

Her current husband, 71-year-old Gerald Uden, has pleaded guilty to shooting his ex-wife and her 10- and 11-year-old sons in central Wyoming in 1980. He's serving a life sentence.

Police have not linked the two cases since arresting the Udens in Chadwick, Mo., in September 2013.
