Torrington teen killed in single-vehicle accident near Lyman


Scotts Bluff, NE (AP) - Alcohol is suspected in a single-vehicle rollover accident near Lyman that killed the vehicle's only occupant.

The Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's office said that 19-year-old Kaylie Rae Haun of Torrington was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident Friday night around 8:45 p.m. Sheriff Mark Overman said that Haun is originally from Mitchell.

The sheriff's office said that Haun was traveling northbound on Holloway Road between Lyman and Henry when she lost control, drove into the southbound lane, ran off the road and drove into a ditch. Her vehicle rolled several times, and she was ejected. Haun was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.
