Cheyenne, WY (KGWN)- Rain or shine, the Cheyenne Trolley Tours will run this 2014 season. They officially started up again on Monday, May 5th, but this weekend, tours for Laramie County residents are only two dollars.

Visit Cheyenne CEO Darren Rudloff said the discounted tours are a way to thank the residents of Laramie County for their longtime support of the tours, and a way to get a new perspective on their city.

"They can learn more about the history of Cheyenne, see the attractions and really just enjoy their community as a visitor to our area would," said Rudloff.

Trolley tour guide Lloyd Rogers is starting his third season as a guide and says his favorite part is meeting people from all over the country and all over the world.

"It's so much fun the people you meet they come here from all over," said Rogers.

The Saturday start times for the $2 tours will be 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Sunday tours will be at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now in the Depot Visitor Center or by calling 778-3133.
