Two student-athletes sign to play basketball at LCCC

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN)- The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles have two strong new additions to the men’s basketball team, including a hometown all-state player.

Khyler Cummings of Cheyenne and Calvin Cooke of Castle Rock, Colorado, will both sign to play with the team this week.

Cummings will graduate from Cheyenne South High later this month. The 5’10 guard was named to the all-conference and all-state teams this season. During the year, he averaged 16.9 points per game.

Cooke is finishing his senior year at Douglas County High School. As a 6’4 forward, he received second team all-conference honors in a year where he scored an average 15.1 points per game and grabbed 8.7 rebounds per contest.
