Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - A Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout February.
Bob Stall is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans' benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Bob can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.
His office is located at the Joint Forces Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne. Stall identified specific dates for "walk-in" outreach.
-Wheatland - Feb. 26, at the Wheatland Fire Department Training Facility, 759 E. Cole St., from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Feb. 18, at the Workforce Services center, 956 Maple St., #6, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
-Guernsey - Feb. 24, at the Camp Guernsey chapel, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Torrington - Feb. 20 and 27, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 908 W. 25th Ave., from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; Feb. 11, at the Workforce Services, 1610 E. M St., from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Cheyenne - Feb. 19, at the Laramie County Community College Student Services Center, 1400 E. College Dr., from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Pine Bluffs - Feb. 12, at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center, 309 Elm St., from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
During periods of inclement weather, please check with the staff at the outreach locations to ensure the veterans service officer will be available as scheduled.
Stall, a retired Army Warrant Officer, is available to meet with veterans and their families from Goshen, Platte, and Laramie counties, in addition to the scheduled outreach.
