A bi-partisan effort by Indiana lawmakers to help Veterans, pays off.
Governor Mike Pence signed an expansion of the "Military Family Relief Fund" Bill into law yesterday morning.
Pence and others gathered at the Indiana War memorial for the Signing ceremony.
The legislation removes any time limit for vets to apply for financial assistance.
Previously they only had three years after returning from service to apply for financial help.
The new legislation also makes it easier for their families to get help too.
