Veterans being honored at the Capitol today

Veterans will be honored through out the morning at the Wyoming State Capitol

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - The annual veteran and military event at the Wyoming Legislature is Thursday. Activities include:

8:30-9:45 a.m. - Meet and greet with key elected officials in the Capitol Rotunda. All military personnel, veterans and their families are invited to participate. An ensemble from the Wyoming Army National Guard's 67th Army Band will perform.

10 a.m. - Gallery visits. Assembled personnel will visit House and Senate galleries for recognition from the Wyoming Legislature.

Noon - The Wyoming Veterans Commission will showcase the Wyoming Fallen Warriors Memorial Kiosk at the Capitol in room 302.

1:30 p.m. - Proclamation signing in the Governor's Formal Office. Gov. Mead will sign a proclamation commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.
