Water and sewer projects for the week beginning April 7

As part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming weeks.

There are three different projects in Laredo going on April 1st and 2nd that will cause temporary interruption of water services.

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - As part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming weeks. This list consists of the projects that require traffic controls and may be of interest to motorists and residents.

Atlantic Drive – Closed to through traffic between Colonial Drive and Centennial Drive.
Purpose: Valve repair.
Expected Dates: 3/17/14 through 4/11/14

Canyon Road – Closed to through traffic north of Storey Boulevard.
Purpose: Street repairs following sewer manhole replacement.
Expected Dates: 4/7/14 through 4/11/14

East 13th Street – Alley east of Rollins Avenue and north of East 13th Street closed to through traffic.
Purpose: Sewer main repair.
Expected Dates: 4/7/14 through 4/11/14

East 18th Street – Traffic controls and no parking on the south side of the street between House Avenue and Evans Avenue.
Purpose: Curb stop repair.
Expected Dates: 4/8/14 through 4/10/14
