Water and sewer projects for the week beginning March 24

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - As part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming weeks. This list consists of the projects that require traffic controls and may be of interest to motorists and residents.

Atlantic Drive – Closed to through traffic between Colonial Drive and Centennial Drive.
Purpose: Valve repair.
Expected Dates: 3/17/14 through 3/28/14

Hilltop Avenue – Traffic controls between Sheridan Street and Basin Street.
Purpose: Sewer Main Repair.
Expected Dates: 3/25/14 through 4/4/14

Progress Circle – Closed to through traffic.
Purpose: Water Main Leak.
Expected Dates: 3/19/14 through 3/28/14

Vista Lane – Closed to through traffic between Bishop Boulevard and Western Hills Boulevard. Manor Lane will also be closed to through traffic between Harmony Lane and Vista Lane.
Purpose: Manhole replacement and sewer main repair.
Expected Dates: 3/6/14 through 3/28/14

West 17th Street – Closed to through traffic between Snyder Avenue and Ames Avenue. Dillon Avenue will also be closed between West 16th Street and West 18th Street.
Purpose: Street repair.
Expected Dates: 3/19/14 through 3/28/14
