Water and sewer projects for the week beginning May 5

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - As part of ongoing efforts to maintain Cheyenne’s water and sewer systems, the City of Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities expects construction in the following areas during the upcoming weeks. This list consists of the projects that require traffic controls and may be of interest to motorists and residents.

Cottonwood Drive – Closed to through traffic between East 8th Street and Phoenix Drive.
Purpose: Sewer main repair.
Expected Dates: 4/23/14 through 5/9/14

East 15th Street – Closed to through traffic between Carbon Avenue and Converse Avenue.
Purpose: Fire hydrant replacement.
Expected Dates: 5/5/14 through 5/9/14

East 19th Street – Lane closure between Russell Avenue and Morrie Avenue. Lane shift on Morrie Avenue near East 19th Street.
Purpose: Water main valve replacement.
Expected Dates: 5/5/14 through 5/9/14

East 28th Street – Closed to through traffic between Evans Avenue and Van Lennen Avenue.
Purpose: Water main valve replacement.
Expected Dates: 4/17/14 through 5/9/14

Seymour Avenue – Closed to through traffic between East 24th Street and East 26th Street.
Purpose: Fire hydrant replacement.
Expected Dates: 4/22/14 through 5/9/14

West Jefferson Road – Closed to through traffic between King Court and Lummis Court.
Purpose: Street repairs
