Wednesday is "Bike to Work Day" in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - On Wednesday, June 25, opt for a healthy commute and join hundreds of your fellow residents in biking to work. Bike to Work Day is Cheyenne’s premier event to encourage commuters to try bike commuting for the first time or to recommit to increasing time spent on the bike. Participants can enjoy free breakfast at four locations in town, participate in a variety of activities including group rides and workshops and receive free roadside assistance if needed. Bike Cheyenne Events*

• June 23 -- Selfie Photograph Competition starts
• Upload an epic photo of you and a bike during Bike to Work Week to win an awesome prize
• June 24 – Basic Maintenance Workshop for Women at the Bicycle Station, 2634 Dell Range Blvd. (7-8 PM)
• June 25 – Bike to Work Day Free Continental Breakfast (6:30 – 8:30 AM) will be provided at the following locations:
o 3919 Central Avenue (Across from Warren Federal Credit Union, 7th Ave. Branch)
o 204 West Fox Farm Road (Holiday Inn)
o 2600 E. 18th Street (CRMC East Location)
o 214 E. 23rd Street (CRMC Downtown Location)
• June 25 – Helmet Fittings and Giveaways by WYDOT for kids at Goins Elementary School, 224 Dey Avenue, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
• June 26 – Basic Maintenance Workshop at the Bicycle Station, 2634 Dell Renge Blvd. (7-8 PM)
• Ride your bike any time during the week and enjoy free summer meals for children brought to you by LCSD 1. For more information on location and times visit
