The national AP scores were released and the numbers were not very good for Wyoming. The number of students who graduated from a Wyoming high school having taking at least one AP course in 2012 was 974. That number dropped to 884 in 2013, nearly 9%. An alarming change to a state that just a few years ago, appeared to be on the rise.

The Wyoming Department of Education is now looking for answers to this problem, and believe it may be with legislature to promote students taking AP class. However, they believe this won't go into effect til at least 2015.
