Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - A 24 year-old was man killed in rollover accident 20 miles west of Laramie Thursday morning.

Trevor J. Hollingsworth of Spokane Washington was killed when the truck he was riding in jackknifed and went off the interstate.

Hollingsworth was westbound on I-80 pulling a gooseneck trailer that was loaded with a 2 horse trailer and a F-350 pickup.

Roadways in the area at the time of the crash were icy and lightly snow covered.

As the combination crossed over a bridge deck Hollingsworth lost control of the vehicle. The combination jackknifed causing the pickup to be in a broadside slide as it left the roadway. Once off the roadway the pickup rolled 1/2 time while the trailer remained upright. Both pickup and trailer then slid down a steep embankment causing extensive roof intrusion into the passenger compartment.

Joel Hollingsworth, 64, of Addy Washington was driving the pickup truck and was not injured.

Both men were wearing their seat belts.

Troopers investigating this crash attribute speed too fast for the existing conditions as the contributing factor.
