Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) From 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, at Camp Jack, which is off of Happy Jack Road and west of Curt Gowdy State Park, fifth-grade students will participate in a Revolutionary War reenactment of the Battle of Saratoga.
This week 5th graders from multiple schools have been researching and picking out equipment in preparation for the reenactment. American history is a big part of the 5th grade curriculum and this event is a great way for teachers and students to end the school year.
Each class raised money in different ways to take part in the reenactment. Play the video to hear more from a teacher and student taking part.
