Free tax prep help

Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) If those confusing tax forms have you stumped, or you want to find out if you can get even more back on your refund, free tax preparation, for those who qualify, and information about Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is available at Laramie County Community College, 1400 E. College Dr., CCI Room 144 February 1 through April 14, 2014 on the following dates and times.

- Sat. 9-11:30 a.m., Feb. 1 – April 12, 2014

Local IRS certified volunteers will answer questions about EITC eligibility and free tax preparation through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. Basic income tax preparation services and electronic filing will be available to qualified Laramie County
residents with low- to moderate-incomes, (suggested total family incomes of $50,000 - $65,000or less).

Taxpayers are asked to bring identification, income documentation, deductible expenses, and 2012 tax return, if available.
