Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) In February of 2012 microbrewery Freedom's Edge opened up to the community of Cheyenne. On March 27th, 2014 the Cheyenne born brewery officially opened a second location in Fort Collins.
The new location is at 244 Linden street and will serve as a pilot brewery on a small three-barrel system. The owners plan to get home brewers heavily involved featuring beers made from members of the community and raising money for charities during a "brew for the love" campaign.
The atmosphere inside the new location is similar to the Cheyenne location. No TVs, neon lights or loud music. The environment is meant to spark conversation and according to the owners is an ideal place to simply enjoy beer.
Back in Cheyenne Freedom's edge is moving to a new location inside the brewery at 1509 Pioneer Avenue. Providing a more industrial feel with the sights, smells and sounds of the beer brewed in Cheyenne.
The owners believe in a beer without borders lifestyle and are excited for all the changes occurring at Freedom's Edge. To hear more play the video above.
