How We Help
Temporary Shelter- Families are given a warm safe place to sleep through our partnership with the faith-based communities.

Interfaith Hosting
We partner with 16 faith-based communities in Cheyenne. The faith-based communities offer up their facilities for families to stay at night, they provide food for the families, and their volunteers stay with the families in the facility at night and offer support as needed.

Day Program
Families receive comprehensive case management including assistance with resumes, job search and interviewing, locating affordable housing, and accessing additional community resources. The day program also offers enrichment programs for the families, including budgeting, nutrition, parenting and relationship, and preschool classes.

Transitional Housing
The program has two transitional apartments. Families have the opportunity to move into once they graduate from the first phase of the program. The transitional housing offers the family affordable housing while they continue to work towards self-sufficiency.

Families are referred to additional community resources based on their individual needs.

Emergency Assistance
Families may receive emergency assistance such as food, diapers, and clothing, even if they are not able to enter the program. Other assistance may also be available through other Community Action programs and/or referrals to other agencies.
