Adolescence is fraught with changes! Bodies are changing, there are new emotions, struggles with self esteem. Fearing rejection; craving acceptance.

As parents, we remember that time in life all too well.

Mood swings happen to males and females, they are normal, and they can be controlled. Here are a few messages parents can give their teens to help them cope:

1. Talk to someone

2. Don't react immediately

3. Exercise

4. Sleep

5. Release Stress

Parents you are your child's best advocate. When they do come to you, be ready with the door open.
