Poker run to end polio

(Release) The Rotary Club of Cheyenne is sponsoring their 2ND Annual Poker Run to “e-RIDE-icate” Polio! Rotary International has made great strides towards ending this terrible, preventable disease, and polio is now endemic in only three countries: Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria. However, it has been showing up recently in other countries including Syria, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.

The Poker Run will be held on Saturday, June 7, with registration starting at 9:30am and Kick Stands Up at 10:30am. The Run starts at High Country Motor Sports at 3320 Lincolnway in Cheyenne. Following the approximately 90-mile ride that includes five stops, the Run concludes with an End Party at the Redwood Lounge in Cheyenne.

In addition to the 50/50 Run, there will also be a raffle for several exciting prizes, including a ladies watch and gift cards from several local restaurants and businesses.

Motorcycle enthusiasts can register the morning of the Run, or pre-register at
