Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) Summer break can be a challenging time for parents. Many search for ways to keep their children safe, active and continuing to learn during the summer months. To assist local parents, St. Mary’s Catholic School will offer a Summer Fun and Enrichment Program June 9 – August 8, 2014. The school will provide fun and educational enrichment programs in a safe and secure environment with a well-trained staff. Full or part-time care is available during the summer for all children in the community Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.. The program is open to all children in our community!
The St. Mary’s Summer Fun & Enrichment Program is available for 3 year olds (potty learned) and 4 – 10 year olds. St. Mary’s Summer Fun & Enrichment Program also offers a low teacher-student ratio to ensure children receive healthy interaction.
The summer program is located at St. Mary’s School (air conditioned) and will offer physical fitness and fun educational activities including; nature walks, summer fun science, educational games, bike riding, and possibly swimming lessons. Crafts, story time, listening activities and library trips are also planned. The program will also include local field trips and classes through the Cheyenne Botanic Garden’s Children’s Village.
