Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) The annual Union Pacific Excursion Trip is set for Sunday July 20 this year. Tickets can be purchased at http://shermanhillrails.org/trip.html

8:15 am: Cheyenne Check in opens in front of Cheyenne Depot
9:15 am: Buses board for Denver alongside Cheyenne Depot
9:40 am: Prompt departure for Denver
11:40 am: Arrive in Denver
11:45 am: Denver check-in opens at train for those not previously checked-in
12:00 pm: Begin boarding train
1:00 pm: Train departs Denver for Cheyenne
Approximately 5:00 pm: Train arrives at the Cheyenne Depot
7:30 pm: Buses depart Cheyenne for Denver
Parking in Cheyenne:
Available FREE in the West parking lot located on 15th Street immediately west of the Cheyenne Depot (121 W. 15th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001) or in the Cheyenne Parking Garage at Carey Ave and Lincolnway.
Parking in Denver:
Available FREE in the National Western Complex (4655 Humboldt St, Denver, CO 80216), Parking Lot K, located at E. 46th Ave and Humboldt Street.
Location of train in Denver:
Train will depart from near the National Western Complex (NWC). Boarding area is just south-east of the 44th and Brighton Blvd intersetion. Shuttles will be available to transport passengers from NWC to the train loading area.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Dome, table and coach seating will be assigned by car with first-come, first-served seating within that car by type of ticket purchased.
A boxed lunch with beverage will be provided each passenger. No other dining or alcohol service is provided. You may bring your own food.
No smoking is allowed in the Cheyenne Depot, aboard the bus, or the train.
No weapons or alcohol are permitted on the bus or the train
All backpacks, suitcased and coolers are subject to search.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Tickets are required for every passenger (including infants)
The type and number of locomotives will be scheduled and operated at Union Pacific discretion.
Time and train traffic permitting, Union Pacific will determine a photo run-by location during the trip.
Tickets are non-refundable.
Open-toed shoes are prohibited due to irregular ground, rattlesnakes and fire ants, as well as safety while going from car to car.
Each passenger must sign a Union Pacific Permit and Release Form before boarding the train.
