CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Schools Supt. Cindy Hill is firing back at state lawmakers who serve on a committee that released a report this week critical of her management of the education department. Hill has submitted a complaint to the Wyoming State Bar complaining that five lawmakers who also are lawyers violated legal ethical standards.

LANDER, Wyo. (AP) — Two Lander men face felony charges in connection with the ransacking of two cabins in Sinks Canyon in early May. The Riverton Ranger reports 20-year-old Michael Vinich and 19-year-old Shaun Zgurich also face misdemeanor criminal entry charges. Police allege the two were members of a group of young people who entered the cabins. Authorities say it appeared people had stayed in each home for several hours partying and destroying things.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — Casper police have arrested a man facing felony charges in connection with the death of a Casper bicyclist in May. The Casper Star Tribune reports 30-year-old Lamont Arthur Jr. turned himself in. Thirty-nine-year-old bicyclist Matthew Harker was hit by the SUV in downtown Casper. Harker later died of brain trauma at Swedish Medical Center in Denver.

CODY, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has trapped an adult male grizzly bear north of Pinedale. The department says it captured the bear because it was killing cattle on a U.S. Forest Service grazing allotment. The bear was relocated to the Mormon Creek drainage, approximately five miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
