Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) Wyoming Highway Patrol says an impaired driver left several cars damaged, caused injuries to drivers, and even injured a state trooper on Wednesday evening.
Sergeant David Wagener said 39-year-old Raymond Wagner collided with three or four vehicles at the intersection of College Drive and US 85. Wagner was driving a pick up and left the scene. Another driver followed Wagner and called the Wyoming Highway Patrol. At some point, Wagner turned around and drove back toward the scene.
He was met by troopers and when they tried to get his attention he ran his car into the side of a state trooper's vehicle twice. A struggle between Wagner and troopers ended with troopers restraining and arresting Wagner.
Sgt. Wagener said the damage to the trooper's vehicle is likely in the thousands.
