Omaha, NE (AP) - Authorities say a suspect sought on a felony warrant has been fatally wounded at a house in southeastern Omaha.
Omaha police say members of the Metro Fugitive Task Force encountered the man outside the house around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday. Omaha police spokeswoman Darci Tierney says more than one officer fired after "some sort of threat." None of the officers was hurt.
It's unclear whether the man was armed, and police have yet to release his name. Tierney says officers had expected him to have a weapon.
The man was described only as a man in his 30s. Tierney didn't know what crime the warrant alleged.
