Casper, WY (AP) - A 12-pound, 6.5 ounce baby boy born in Casper this week could be the largest baby ever delivered at the Wyoming Medical Center.
Kery Nelms delivered son Damien by natural birth on Tuesday as father Michael stood by.
The Casper Star-Tribune (http://bit.ly/1cyTfsF ) reports that Damien is at least the largest baby born at the hospital in the last 30 years. The birth records beyond that are on paper and haven't been thoroughly reviewed yet.
Damien is too big for infant gowns, so he's been dressed in loose-fitting hospital pajamas instead.
Kery Nelms says big babies run in her family. Her 22-month-old daughter Sydney 10 pounds when she was born.
