Cheyenne Police look for Beacon Hill Church Burglar

CHEYENNE, WY – Cheyenne police are investigating a burglary that happened during the fourth of July weekend at Beacon Hill Baptist Church.

According to police, a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, broke into the church, located at 110 Central Avenue, on July 6th at 10:15 p.m.

The man was wearing a light colored shirt with a skull design on the front, dark pants, and a light colored Carhart hat. He was also trying to cover his face with a rag or shirt.

The church tells Newschannel 5 that the thief busted several doors before forcing his way into an office where he stole more than $200 in cash, ignoring loose change that was in a collection box. The church is also home to a children’s daycare center.
