Cheyenn, WY (KGWN) - Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi issued the weekly Republican address this week. In it he criticized many of the Obama administrations policies including the Affordable Health Care Act, the new student loan plan, and the proposed energy tax that President Obama is expected to announce next week.
Enzi said, “The Administration has set out to kill coal and its 800,000 jobs. If it succeeds in death by regulation, we’ll all be paying a lot more money for electricity – if we can get it. Our pocketbook will be lighter, but our country will be darker.
“The Administration also slow walks approval of domestic oil and gas production. It’s death by delay for the Keystone XL Pipeline. We all want clean air and clean water. We don’t want costly regulations that make little or no difference, that are making things less affordable. Republicans want electricity and gas when you need it, at a price you can afford. "
Enzi's Senate seat is up for grabs this fall in the general election.
