CHEYENNE (KGWN) - From 2010 to 2011 nearly 72% of seniors graduated. The following year, they dropped half a percent to just over 71%. And between 2012 and 2013, the graduation rate rose slightly...close to 72%.
So far, the numbers from this past year are not available. Faculty tells us exactly how they plan to help their students.
School Superintendent, John Lyttle says he wants "To improve academic performance for our students. And get great results in math and language arts and other areas to step up."
According to the LCSD1 Faculty, strategy is the key to success. The district is providing advanced placement courses and tutoring programs to help students succeed.
