New candidate joins superintendent race

Cheyenne, WY (KGWN) - Cheyenne resident Jillian Balow is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction. Current Superintendent Cindy Hill is not seeking reelection, instead going for Governor Matt Mead's job.

Balow was appointed the Department of Family Services Administrator for Early Child Development in Summer 2012. Before that she was a supervisor with the Wyoming Department of Education.

State executive elections are on November 4th, 2014.
