Laramie, WY (AP) - Construction is nearly complete on a wing at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, and most of the area is expected to open May 21.
The Laramie Daily Boomerang reported Friday the wing includes a dialysis center and separate rooms for medical and surgical patients.
The wing has rooms for receptions and conferences and an atrium with a glass ceiling. Double doors are designed to keep wind and cold out of the lobby.
New operating rooms won't open for another four months.
Construction started in September 2012. Work has been delayed by bad weather and by state inspectors disapproving some plans.
