SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) — A group in Sheridan says it's prepared to take legal action to prevent fluoride from being added to the city's drinking water. The group Clean Water Sheridan says a public vote is needed, not just city council action, to resume fluoridation. The Sheridan Press reports the group plans to seek a court injunction.
MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) — Grand Teton National Park rangers rescued a Maryland woman who injured her leg in a remote area of the Teton Range. Park officials say Joanna Wang was hurt while descending Garnet Canyon Sunday. Her hiking partners called 911 and a helicopter flew three park rangers to the area.
ALADDIN, Wyo. (AP) — The small town of Aladdin in northeastern Wyoming is for sale for $1.5 million. The Gillette News-Record reports the town includes 30 acres and 15 buildings, including a 118-year-old general store that's still operating.
RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — The public is invited to Riverton Regional Airport today for an up-close look at a Lockheed C130 Hercules cargo plane. Airport director Paul Griffin tells The Riverton Ranger the gigantic plane is due to land between 6:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. to pick up a National Guard rocket launcher that will be displayed at Frontier Days in Cheyenne.
