Wyoming Inmate Loomer dies in Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution

Torrington, WY (DOP) - David Forest Loomer, a Wyoming inmate, died Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming, after a lengthy illness.

Loomer was sentenced in Converse County on September 30, 1987 by District Court Judge William A. Taylor. He received concurrent sentences of 20-25 years for the offense of aggravated robbery and 25-40 years for the offense of kidnapping.

Loomer was born on October 14, 1933, in Morrow, Nebraska.
As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
