INDIANAPOLIS (March 12, 2014) The complete landscape for the 2014 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships was made clear Wednesday, after the NCAA released brackets for the national tournament March 20-22 in Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Junior Tyler Cox takes the No. 9 seed into the tournament at 125 pounds. Cox was the 12th seed in last year’s tournament and finished eighth to earn All-America status.
Cox will join juniors Dakota Friesth (165) and Shane Woods (197) and redshirt freshman Benjamin Stroh (184) at the event, thanks to their performances at the NCAA West Regional last weekend. Cox, Stroh and Woods each won their weight-class titles, while Friesth was second in his to earn the auto bid. Each weight class fields 33 wrestlers, and the NCAA seeds the top 16 in each class and draws in the remaining wrestlers.

125 pounds: No. 9-seed junior Tyler Cox (28-5) vs. Caleb Richardson (Penn, 12-9)
