Cheyenne, WY (KGWN)- The Cheyenne Central Lady Indians and Laramie Lady Plainsmen will tip off the 4A East Regional Tournament on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
The teams split the regular season series, each team winning on the road.
Central finished the regular season 10-13 and Laramie was 9-14. Both teams were 2-8 in conference play.
Laramie earned the higher seed in a three-way tie breaker with Central and South because Laramie defeated Evanston and Central and South did not.
The Central boys will play Sheridan, Thursday night at 8:30 p.m.
Sheridan won both regular season match ups.
Central finished an up and down season 4-16 and 1-9 in the conference.
Winners of first round games in the regional tournament receive an automatic birth into the state tournament. The loser of those games, is done for the year.
