Cowboys lose in low scoring game to UNLV, 48-46

(Las Vegas) - UNLV moves to 33-15 all-time against the Pokes. The Runnin’ Rebels own a 22-3 advantage in Las Vegas.

Wyoming attempted a season-low five free throws. The Pokes ended the night 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.

The Runnin’ Rebels were 3-of-4 from the free throw line. It was a season low for attempts and makes against the Pokes this season.

UW shot 46 percent from the field and held the Runnin’ Rebels to 43 percent. The Pokes are now 14-4 when out shooting an opponent.

Junior forward Larry Nance Jr. recorded a game-high 12 points for the Cowboys. He has scored in double figures in 10 games this season. Nance has scored in double figures in eight consecutive games and in 9-of-10 MW contests.

Nance recorded a game-high three blocks for Wyoming. He has recorded two or more blocks in 15 games this season.

Nance moved into the top-10 in career blocks at Wyoming. He ranks ninth in career blocks with 92 in his career.

Junior guard Riley Grabau recorded 11 points for UW. He has scored in double figures 13 times this season and 20 times in his career.

Sophomore guard Josh Adams recorded a career-high six rebounds for the Pokes.

Redshirt senior guard Jerron Granberry recorded all five of the Pokes’ bench points. He has recorded at least one point off the Cowboys bench in 22-of-23 games this season.
