Mustangs play two at Powers

The Cheyenne Mustangs hosted the Blue Chip Team from Colorado. First game was low scoring and full of unearned runs. Cheyenne left too many men in scoring position in both games.

The first game ended in a Blue Chip 3-2 win.

Brian Tims got the ball in game two and was dominant. He struck out 8 and induced inning ending ground and fly outs. He only allowed 5 hits and Blue Chip had one chance but Val Pedroza erased that chance with a throw out from right field.

Grant Byelich scored the only run of the game on a wild pitch.

Mustangs win game 2 1-0.

They will be home Friday and Saturday to play 2 double-headers.
