Burns and Pine Bluffs tipped things off on the hardwood at Burns High School in front of a packed crowd.

The girls played first and it was a game that came down to the wire, tied at 41 late in the fourth quarter.

The Lady Hornets were able to pull away, hitting free throws down the stretch for a 48-41 win.

Then it was time for the boys to play and the more experienced Burns team jumped out to a 14-4 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Hunter Thompson only had 3 points in the first half one just one made field goal.

Tough defense and a full court press from Burns early, lead by Travis Romsa, who finished with 14 points, earned the Broncs a 52-37 win.
