Lincoln Trujillo brought home the winning run to give Cheyenne Post six the lead in the seventh inning, as Cheyenne Post six hung on to beat Casper Oilers 4-2 on Tuesday.
After Jackson Ayala doubled, Lincoln came to the plate with the score tied at two in the seventh inning, and doubled, plating Jackson.
Isaac Taylor racked up two RBIs on one hit for Cheyenne Post six. He homered in the fourth inning.
Brock Anderson recorded the win for Cheyenne Post six. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Brock struck out four, walked none and gave up 10 hits.
Myers couldn't get it done on the hill for Casper Oilers, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
Cheyenne Post six closer Connor Redman put away the final six outs to record the save.
In the bottom of the third, Casper Oilers grabbed the early lead, 2-0. Fanto doubled, scoring Ward after a double by Ward got things started. Casper Oilers then tacked on more runs when Fanto scored on a sacrifice fly by Galey.
