Stampede Add NAHL veteran to the blue line

Mueller is a 6'4 220 pound left shot defenseman from Bakersfield California. The veteran blueliner comes to the Stampede with over 70 games played in the North American Hockey League.

Mueller who played with three different teams in the North American Hockey League, spending time with the Texas Tornado, Lone Star Brahmas and the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The talented defenseman scored one goal with four assists and 100 penalty minutes.

"Mitchell is going to be a great addition to our club and we will be leaning on him to add some experience and leadership with extreme grit and toughness," Cheyenne Head Coach Eric Ballard said of his new defenseman. "We are very excited to add Mueller to the roster."

Mueller is another piece of the puzzle that Ballard has been trying to put in place for the upcoming season and after speaking with him he was elated to have acquired Mueller.

"Getting players of Mitchell's caliber has been our goal from the beginning. He will be given every opportunity to push the organization to a level of play that we are so excited to be at," Ballard concluded. "The big D man is excited to become a part of the team and is eager to get started."
