Laramie, Wyo. (Aug. 22, 2014) -- University of Wyoming football fans will have the opportunity to gain insight into Cowboy Football each week this season as UW Athletics and ROOT SPORTS are partnering on Inside Wyoming Football with Craig Bohl. The half-hour weekly TV show will premiere on ROOT SPORTS Rocky Mountain Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m., and will be part of ROOT SPORTS Thursday night lineup throughout the 2014 season.
First-year Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl and Dave Walsh, “Voice of the Cowboys”, will discuss the week in Wyoming Football, previewing the upcoming game and recapping the Cowboys’ most recent contest. In this season’s first episode, Bohl and Walsh will preview the Cowboy offense and defense and take a look ahead at Wyoming’s season opener versus the Montana Grizzlies on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The premiere episode will also provide Cowboy fans with an opportunity to get to know senior quarterback Colby Kirkegaard in an interview conducted by long-time UW color analyst Kevin McKinney. Lander, Wyo., native Tanner Simpson, who began as a walk-on at UW before earning a scholarship this fall, will also be featured in the season’s opening episode.
